Dear Support,

as a new client/user of your template generator i'm happy to have a helping hand for my work. if you have a projekt with joomla and virtuemart, it is so much work to configurate the css styling or the layout/template. So your tool is a good base from which it is easier to build a template.

But on the other side i think a lot of people use this like i'm too for a base or beta template version. after use all options of your generator - they or i would manage or edit more than your option make it possible, so i can edit the template style and override the existing css entries.

And this is my point of constructive criticism.

Why is your dokumentation or info to your template in particular the css layout and the connections or positions so less.

it can be very helpful to have in this case a better support. also there are less notes in the css files to it can be helpful to if there are area notes in the files that helps to find the necessary classes.

the best way i found or it is an idea from me to integrate a blank css file (custom.css) with all used css codes ready for overriding not compresed and easy to handle (with clear notes). so if more wanted your clients can use this confortable file and can used it on the index.php as last css file, overriding all the previous options. Only for developing more. After the template is ready you only need to use the edit files (in customer or the other css files)

thanks for this starting statement.

i work for this moment on my template and the website so I am thinking to ask a few more concrete questions.

many thanks
ralf

I agree with the integrate a blank css file (custom.css) file which will be last in the sequence. Many template vendors use that and it works great. In this case, if I make any changes, I have to remember all the changes an re-apply.

    Just my thought.

Actually you can do it right now. I am using a Custom Class CSS plugin from
    http://joomla.impression-estudio.gr/add-custom-css/guide.php

The only problem is that ../templates/yourtemplate/css/linelab.css is forced to the bottom. If you can change the code to allow the plugin to be at the bottom then no problem.

See attached to see what I mean

i used for me a easier solution and put an additional code for an additional custom.css file in the index.php of my template. So it is also on the last place (one before </head>;) in my html code so it can override all css entries.
I designed my colors and others offer the linelab generator and all seperate css wishes in my custom.css file. But attention with the bootsrap entries and looks.
    Thanks for your solution
