Hello,

I have downloaded the VMLAB template at 17 april.

I'm dutch so I change the language to dutch.

I add this to the 'templateDetails.xml'
<languages folder="language">
<language tag="nl-NL">nl-NL/nl-NL.tpl_dogtraholland.ini</language>
<language tag="nl-NL">nl-NL/nl-NL.tpl_dogtraholland.sys.ini</language>
</languages>

instead of:
<languages folder="language">
<language tag="en-GB">en-GB/en-GB.tpl_dogtra_first_edition.sys.ini</language>
<language tag="en-GB">en-GB/en-GB.tpl_dogtra_first_edition.ini</language>
</languages>

I have add a dir 'nl-NL' in the language dir of the template.

But nothing is translated anymore. So at the isotope virtuemart product module I get the labels like "TPL_ULTIMELAB_FEATURED" in stead of "Featured Products".

Now I read this on the support forum: I read this as wel.

Does that mean that there is a bug in the template and do I have to download the template again?

Or do I something wrong?

Regards,

Nico

    Hi Nico,
    1. Download and open language file (e.g. templates/dogtraholland/language/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_dogtraholland.ini) with a text editor.
    2. Translate entries into your language
    3. Save language file as utf-8
    4. Change the filename from: en-GB.tpl_dogtraholland.ini to nl-NL.tpl_dogtraholland.ini
    5. Upload the file into nl-NL directory via ftp.

    This is what I already did. But I don't think you understand what I mean.

      The first attachement, you can see at the front-end the tag's are not replaced by the normal text.
      In stead of "TPL_ULTIMELAB_RANDOM I should expect "Random products", because at this moment I have only changed the file name not the text. I will do this, if it is working.

    1. My code in TemplateDetails.xml:
      <languages folder="language">
      <language tag="nl-NL">nl-NL/nl-NL.tpl_dogtraholland.ini</language>
      <language tag="nl-NL">nl-NL/nl-NL.tpl_dogtraholland.sys.ini</language>
      </languages>

    2. My attachement of die nl-NL language directory in the templates map

    I think that I have the files in the right place. I can't find the code where the language file's are included, so that I can find in the code which path is expected.

    Go to admin Joomla > Extensions > Languages Manager > Overrides > click on the New icon > Add Language Constant TPL_ULTIMELAB_RANDOM > add Text e.g. Willekeurige producten > Save.

    Hello,

    I have just downloaded the template again and now it is working! Also in the back-end the tags are replaced.
